This is a game the kids love to play at the river. It's called... run as fast as you can to the tree and run back to mom. They usually sleep good after this game. Yahoo!!!
Maycee is such a great big sister. She doesn't want him to fall in.
Carson is caught red handed eating the bread for the birds. He is a growing boy.
These guys love to get out as close as they can without falling in. I wish they would stand back, but at least if they fall in it is pretty shallow right there.
Isn't this a great day? Yes those are buns on Jeff's ears, he is slowly turning into Mickey Mouse!We love to go to the river, and this was the most perfect day. We walked around and it was like we were camping, but we got to go home and sleep in our own beds and wash our hands(Lincoln kept picking up goose poo, he thought it was rocks. Ew) We hope to have many more of these great days. Maybe summer really is here!

What a perfect day! Last time we went there were so many people that the ducks were full and our bread just floated away. It probably didn't help that the boys were throwing whole slices in instead of little chunks. :)

Tell Jeff he has nice "buns"! I am jealous of your little outing. I want to do that! I am not as nice of a mom as you are. With my luck one of my kids would fall in.
Doug and I love to go to the river too!!!! We have been three times already!!! On the nice days since it snows every other day it seems like. These are way cute pictures of the kids. I like the family one too. I think Jeff is becoming Princess Bun Head!!!!!!!! :)
