Hold on Tight!!
Today we were driving home from Bonneville, round trip 12 minutes. Well Carson and Lincoln were fighting in the back seat(we were already back into our neighborhood by now). So I told Carson to get out of his seat and move to the seat away from Lincoln. Well a little further down the street we entered into a dead spin, ok not really, but we started to slide on the dang snow that got dumped on us last week, UHHH. We slid full speed(12 MPH) into a mailbox of a house that I did not know who lived in it. Their mailbox stand was made of concrete and we smacked into it hard. That sucked, but then I heard Carson crying, I thought he was mad because of our little detour so I turned around to look at him. It turns out he was mad because he had neglected to put his seatbelt back around his little waist and had flown from his seat and smacked his nose into the seat in front of him. There was blood streaming from his nose and all I had to wipe it up was a frozed wipey, that was in my purse, in the car all night long. I wrote them a heartfelt note and stuck it in their mailbox. I do not think that is in the top ten list of how to make a friend, I guess now we will see if they wish to take any legal action against us. Ha Ha!! Why do people make their mailboxes so indestructible???

The things this boy says...
Today after dinner, Carson was wanting to watch T.V. I already had told him that after dinner it was time to read me his books he brought home from school. And then he said very matter of factly to me..."I have 2 eyes." He was thinking that he could watch t.v. with one eye and read with the other eye. Me and Jeff were standing in the kitchen laughing at him because in his mind he really thought that would work. He is so funny.

Bless You!!
Last night while we were eating dinner, Carson had to sneeze and he turned to the side and slightly stepped away from the table, but still slammed his cheek into the corner. Ouch!!! He cried and had a big ol' welt, but today he had no bruise or anything. Poor Buddy!!
O.k. I know this may gross some out or maybe just bore ya to death, but as you all know I started a new job and I tend to come home with some pretty funny stories, so I thought I could blog about it and stop telling you all in person. Yesterday I was at work (at 5:45 a.m.) and I was working away. Well this guy got there and I went over to stick him with my little needle and he starts to tell me of his horrible experience about the last time he came and this girl sucked so bad she stuck him and totally missed his vein and then had to go get someone to come help her fix it and it took forever and totally hurt the whole time(thank heavens it wasn't me that did that!!). So I went on to tell him how I would be really careful and be sure to get it right... so I stuck him and he was like "WOW, you did awesome I didn't feel anything, that was the best stick I have ever had here!" He looked away while I stuck him and was still not looking, I gently said "OH I am so glad you think so cuz I just totally missed your vein and I need to run and get someone to come and fix this." He was like "thats ok man, it totally doesn't hurt still!" It was so funny, I guess I won't be quite so confident next time.

HAPPY NEW YEAR
Holy cow, I can not believe it is already 2009. It seems like this year came and went so fast it is crazy!!! I have not blogged for so long, thanks to my sister I at least had one post for the last couple of months. Today is my brothers birthday so first of all I must say a few words about him.... please refer to the photo a couple of posts ago of all us siblings, he is the one that is not a girl!!
1. He always drove in his car in the summer with all the windows up and NO air conditioning because he didn't want to mess up his hair.
2. He likes a good laugh, if you tell him something funny he laughs hard and tears roll from his eyes!!:)
3. He is an awesome dad. Seriously, I have never seen a person spend so much time playing with their kids, and he does it all with a smile. He thinks it is a treat to be with them!!
4. He spends money good, he doesn't waste it and always pays things off quick.
5. He loves sea food, it is fun to watch him try and crack a crab.
6. He sets his mind on something and does not give up, he just got his masters degree, he went on the south beach diet like 2 years ago and is still on it etc.
Love ya Doug- Happy Birthday!!!
Here is Maycee the week before Thanksgiving, she is in a cheerleading group and they were performing for 1/2 time at a basketball game, that is her in the very middle at the top of the pyramid. It freaks me out, now I see why parents go crazy when their kid is in sports, it makes ya really scared to see them in a possition that could potentially kill them. Ha Ha!

My sister Jenny and her family came to town over Thanksgiving and Maycee fell in love with her baby, Sally, (I think Sally liked Maycee too). She still will not stop talking about her and is always saying how she misses her and wishes they would move closer. We had a great time while she was here, my favorite part was when we went to lunch on my 1/2 hour lunch break, we laughed for 30 minutes straight. My family ROCKS!
This is Jack(Jennys kid-o) Maycee, Carson and Lincoln they all decorated our tree. It was fun and "kid cute" but I am excited for the day that I get to have a kid tree AND a beautiful tree that I get to decorate with all coordinating decorations etc.
Christmas morning, Lincoln is opening a motorcycle that pops wheelies. He was funny, after almost everything he opened he would say"Oh yeah, I REALLY wanted that!!"
No holiday with presents would be the same with out Carson, can you see the excitement on his face??? He is this excited about everything he opens for himself and about everything anyone else opened too. He makes it all so fun. He may be crazy but it is times like these that we are so glad we got him!!
Maycee got the spa factory, that is all she wanted pretty much, she spent most of Christmas making perfume, lip gloss and bath salts. She is such a girl! We like her.
We had a great Holiday Season and hopefully everyone else did too!! I hope to manage my time better once we get back into our daily routine next week, I will try to blog more. Oh yeah baby!
